Ushna Shah’s Punch, one of three standalone stories in the upcoming anthology film Sheroes, has been unveiled ahead of the film’s September 18 cinema release, completing the rollout of its three individual stories.

The first look presents Shah as a boxer determined to prove her doubters wrong, with the film exploring ambition, grit and the fight to achieve her dreams. Its teaser had earlier shown her character working towards a major bout while receiving support from her family.

Punch is written by Mohsin Ali and directed by Badar Mehmood, and stars Shah alongside Gohar Rasheed, M Ehteshamuddin, Parveen Akbar and Konain Shah.

The reveal follows the rollout of posters and teasers for the anthology's other two segments. Kinza Hashmi's Artist, centred on an art-forgery plot, was the first to receive a teaser, introducing her alongside Nayyer Ejaz, Nazar Ul Hasan and Ahmad Hassan.

Zara Noor Abbas's Gear Up, in which she plays a police officer, followed with a poster that she shared herself, featuring the actor in action gear, ahead of its own teaser.

Sheroes brings together Shah, Hashmi and Abbas in three self-contained stories under the shared theme of women confronting their own battles. The film's official description sums up its premise: "Three women. Three worlds. Three stories that stand entirely on their own."
