Jan hails record revenue collection

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information and Science & Information Technology Minister Shafi Jan has said that the province has recorded an unprecedented increase in the provincial government's own-source revenue, which has reached Rs150.84 billion for the first time in its history.

In a press statement, the minister said the provincial government had set an own-source revenue target of Rs182 billion for the current fiscal year. He attributed the significant increase in revenue to the government's effective financial strategy and efficient utilisation of available resources.

Shafi Jan appreciated the performance of the Finance Department, Excise Department, Revenue Authority (KPRA), Information Department and other relevant departments for their contribution to improving the province's own-source revenue.
