New green buses to serve lawyers

RAWALPINDI:

The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) and the District Bar Association have reached an agreement to upgrade 10 Green Bus routes and introduce 10 new buses to facilitate lawyers travelling between their homes and the district courts.

The new buses are expected to become operational by the end of the current week. The agreement was reached between the transport authority and District Bar Association President Malik Sajid Mahmood, Tariq Awan and Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry.

The initiative is aimed at providing lawyers with more convenient and reliable transport to and from the district courts. Meanwhile, the dispensary and health centre at the Rawalpindi district courts are also being upgraded to improve medical facilities for lawyers.
