LAHORE:

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday disposed of a petition seeking the recovery of PTI leader Hammad Azhar after the court was informed that he had been produced before an anti-terrorism court (ATC).

Assistant Advocate General Farrukh Lodhi appeared before the court as the bench, headed by Justice Shahbaz Rizvi, heard the petition. Hammad Azhar's mother filed the petition, naming the Punjab inspector general of police, CCPO and other officials as respondents.

The government's counsel informed the court that Azhar had already been produced before an ATC.
