Entourage stars Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier have reunited on screen for the first time in 11 years in a new advertisement for Betr, the gambling app founded by Jake Paul and Joey Levy.
Piven and Grenier famously played Hollywood super agent Ari Gold and actor Vincent Chase, respectively, on the HBO comedy series. Although the new three-minute Betr advertisement does not feature them as their Entourage characters, their familiar on-screen chemistry is central to the spot.
The ad marks their first screen reunion since the 2015 Entourage movie, which followed the series’ eight-season run on HBO.
In the commercial, Piven arrives at a Miami mansion party in a sports car and searches for Grenier. After encountering several guests, including Lonzo Ball, LiAngelo Ball and Paul, Piven eventually finds Grenier on a yacht.
Piven then pitches Grenier on an international thriller before suggesting that he become the new face of Betr. The commercial promotes the app’s Betr 2.0 super app.
The actors had already reunited earlier this year when Grenier attended one of Piven’s comedy shows in Austin. Piven shared a photo of the pair on Instagram at the time, noting that he had not seen Grenier in almost a decade.
In a joint statement, Piven and Grenier said their reunion felt natural and allowed them to revisit the chemistry they developed while working together.
An Entourage reboot or spinoff has not been officially developed. Grenier previously expressed interest in returning with Piven, while Piven has pointed to continued fan interest in the series. However, creator Doug Ellin recently said a revival was unlikely.
