Sajal Aly asks fans to choose kindness over hate

Encourages fans to approach online conversations with kindness rather than hostility

Pakistani actor Sajal Aly shared a message for her fans on how supporting a favourite celebrity should never come at the expense of putting someone else down.

Taking to social media, the actor urged her followers to refrain from spreading hate or negativity in her name, stressing that a fan’s behaviour can also reflect on the person they claim to support.

“Being someone’s fan doesn’t mean you have to hate or put down others. In fact, when you claim to represent someone, your words and actions reflect on them too,” Sajal wrote.

She went on to address her fans directly, encouraging them to approach online conversations with kindness rather than hostility.

“To all my fans, I hope you always choose love over hate, appreciation over negativity and kindness over aggression. Support the people you love but never at the expense of someone else,” she said.

The actor added a particularly direct message for those who may use her name while attacking others: “If you’re spreading hate in my name, you’re not really my fan.”

Sajal concluded her note by asking her followers to rise above online negativity, writing, “Be the bigger, wiser person. Spread love and peace.”

Her comments come amid considerable online discussion surrounding her ongoing drama Zanjeerein, with the show and her performance generating attention among viewers in recent days.
