'Backrooms' sequel officially in development with Kane Parsons returning to direct

Backrooms 2 is officially in development, with Kane Parsons set to return as director following the success of the first film.

The sequel was confirmed in a report by Dread Central, which revealed that Parsons has signed on to direct the next instalment.

Backrooms is based on the viral Reddit creepypasta about an endless labyrinth that people can accidentally enter by "nocliping" out of reality. The concept originated as an internet urban legend before being adapted into a feature film by A24.
