Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik has called for fast-tracking practical, community-based climate action, urging stakeholders to move beyond lengthy procedures and policy jargon to deliver tangible solutions for vulnerable communities.
He made these remarks during a meeting with Oddy Angelo, UN-Habitat Officer from Bolivia, where discussions focused on urban development, climate resilience, water and sanitation, flood management and interventions for vulnerable communities.
Musadik was critical of delays in development projects, stressing that policy and international cooperation must ultimately translate into work on the ground.
