Rain fails to dampen cyclists' spirit

A cycle rally was organised in Faisalabad on Defence Day despite rain, with a large number of cyclists, including youth, women and elderly, taking part with enthusiasm.

At Bagh-e-Jinnah on Club Road, Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh and other officials cut a ribbon and cake before launching the rally on bicycles.

The participants passed Jail Road, Agricultural University Chowk, the Deputy Commissioner's Office, District Council, Faisalabad Industrial Estate and Chenab Club Chowk before the event concluded at Bagh-e-Jinnah. The commissioner also addressed a Defence Day ceremony at Divisional Model College, where talented students were presented awards.
