Passport offices to offer Saturday delivery service

KARACHI:

Passport delivery counters at passport offices across the country will remain open every Saturday, allowing citizens to collect their ready passports on weekends.

Under the decision, passport delivery counters will remain open from 8am to 4pm every Saturday to provide citizens with greater convenience in collecting their passports. The special weekly passport delivery facility will initially continue for two months, according to sources.

Meanwhile, sources said passports that had not been collected from the respective offices for more than six months would be disposed of in accordance with government policy.
