Man allegedly guns down brother over dispute

CHANGA MANGA:

A business dispute allegedly turned deadly in Changa Manga, where a man shot and killed his brother and injured another person in Chak 15, police said on Tuesday.

The police said the victim, Muhammad Rizwan, was returning home from Lahore when he reached near Chak 15. The suspect, identified as Maqsood Ahmed, allegedly opened fire on him.

Rizwan sustained critical bullet wounds and died at the scene, while another man accompanying him, identified as Shan Ali, was also seriously injured in the firing. The suspect fled the scene after the incident.

According to the FIR, the two brothers had been involved in a dispute over Rizwan's milk business.

Maqsood allegedly wanted to take control of the business, and tensions between the brothers had reportedly escalated over the issue in recent months.
