Charities body chatbot to guide NGOs

The Punjab Charities Commission has developed a chatbot to provide NGOs and citizens instant information and guidance.

The decision to make the chatbot available online was taken at a commission meeting chaired by Home Secretary Dr Ahmad Javed Qazi. The monitoring of charitable and NGOs and their performance was reviewed and several measures approved to improve transparency, accountability and public facilitation.

The commission ordered that lists of charitable organisations registered with the Board of Revenue, industries and social welfare departments be uploaded on its portal without delay.
