LAHORE:

A dispute between two TikTokers that began with videos and allegations exchanged on social media escalated into a physical brawl at the office of the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Township, prompting police to detain more than 10 people.

According to police, TikTokers Umar Butt and Zahoor Chauhan, alias Bhallu Rapper, had been posting videos against each other on social media for some time.

The dispute intensified after one of the parties lodged a complaint against the other with the police.

Both groups were subsequently summoned to the ASP Township office for questioning and to resolve the matter. However, the attempt at mediation reportedly turned hostile when the two sides exchanged heated words before allegedly attacking each other.

A mobile phone video of the incident has surfaced on social media, purportedly showing members of the two groups fighting inside the police office while personnel struggle to separate them.

Police said more than 10 people from both sides were taken into custody following the clash.
