Defence minister seeks PTI's return to health panel
.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Friday urged the PTI to end its boycott and attend the health committee meeting to collectively examine the Pims tragedy and work out measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
He said PM Shehbaz Sharif had announced compensation of Rs5 million for each affected family, while stressing that no compensation could make up for the loss of the children who died in the incident. "Those who lost their children can never be compensated," he said.
Asif urged PTI lawmakers to attend the health committee meeting so that parliamentarians could work together to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
