Man kills wife over domestic dispute

A man allegedly killed his wife over domestic issue in Chak 168 on Friday.

Police said Muhammad Ejaz engaged in an altercation with his 50-year-old wife, Fatima Bibi. During the dispute, the suspect allegedly subjected her to a severe physical assault, leaving her with critical injuries.

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the victim to a hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries on the way.

On receiving information, police reached the spot, shifted the body to a hospital for postmortem examination. Police launched investigation into the incident.
