Girl, alleged accomplice arrested for father's murder

Police claimed to have solved a blind murder case in the jurisdiction of Saddar Jaranwala police within 24 hours, arresting a teenage girl and her alleged accomplice for the murder of her father.
Police said the victim, identified as Asif, allegedly caught his 17-year-old daughter, in an objectionable situation with a young man, Adnan, a resident of Chak 116-GB.
Police alleged that the two suspects subsequently shot Asif dead in an attempt to conceal their alleged relationship.
Following the murder, Saddar Jaranwala police launched an investigation using modern investigative techniques and examined evidence collected from the crime scene. Investigators also questioned individuals and explored different aspects of the case. According to police, the investigation eventually focused on the victim's daughter after evidence suggested that she had allegedly been in contact with Adnan.
During interrogation, police claimed, the girl disclosed that she had allegedly been involved in a relationship with the young man and that her father had seen them together.
