Actor Maya Ali said her goodbyes to Aik Mohabbat Aur, taking a look back at some memorable moments from the drama serial.

Sharing a photo dump to Instagram, Maya reminisced about the shoot days of the drama opposite co-star Ahad Raza Mir. “It’s always hard to say goodbye, but every beautiful journey has to come to an end," the actor wrote.

She also extended her gratitude to the cast and crew, saying, “I’m beyond grateful to every single person who brought life to these characters."

"You live with them for months. You laugh with them, cry with them, and somewhere along the way, you fall in love with them too," Maya added, noting her sadness at the show ending. She said, however, that the journey "has given me the most beautiful memories to cherish forever and reminded me just how beautiful life can be."

Maya also thanked the director for the storytelling and inspiration. “Unfortunately I never got the chance to work with you before this project, but I’m so glad I got to know you. Not just as a director, but as a person. I’m saying this from the heart, there is nobody like you," she wrote.

The actor also praised co-stars Fajr Sheikh and Ayela on their acting skills. For the former, she wrote, "You’re such a cutie and such an amazing actor." For Ayela, the actor said, "I know that one day you’re going to be the biggest star, but more importantly, an even greater human being."

“For now, one last time together tonight," Maya concluded her message.

Aik Mohabbat Aur marked Maya and Mir's first on-screen performance together, with fans raving about their connection. Playing a news presenter and a police officer who fall in love, the show depicted a shift from the generalised family-centric stories that often take centre stage.
