CJ stresses better court facilities, access to justice

ISLAMABAD:

Delegations of District Bar Associations of Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur and Sargodha, and High Court Bar Associations of Bannu and Bahawalpur called on Chief Justice Yahya Afridi at the Supreme Court on Monday and discussed issues relating to bar facilities, court infrastructure and access to justice.

The delegations apprised the top judge of various issues concerning the legal fraternity, including provision of clean drinking water, solarisation of court complexes, Women Facilitation Centres, bar rooms, plantation, internet connectivity, video-link and e-filing facilities, e-libraries and professional training opportunities for lawyers.
