FAISALABAD:

A man allegedly killed his two young grandsons and injured his wife and daughter-in-law during a domestic dispute reportedly triggered by an argument over the children not regularly offering prayers in Mamunkanjan area, police said.

Police said 55-year-old Shah Muhammad became enraged during a family dispute and allegedly attacked his six-year-old grandson Adeel and five-year-old Nabeel with a cleaver.

The two children sustained severe injuries and died at the scene, police said.

Shah Muhammad also allegedly attacked his 50-year-old wife, Ayesha Bibi and daughter-in-law Humaira Bibi, leaving them injured.
