Religious figure's brother abducted

Police have registered a case against nine people after the elder brother of prominent religious figure Maulana Nasir Madni was allegedly abducted at gunpoint and subjected to torture in Gajjumata village in Lahore's Kahna area.
The case was registered at Kahna police station on the complaint of Nadir Hussain, who alleged that four to five armed men forcibly took him at gunpoint to the rooftop of a house late at night and kept him in unlawful confinement.
According to the FIR, the suspects allegedly subjected him to physical torture throughout the night and threatened to kill him. Hussain further alleged that the suspects recorded videos of the alleged torture and forced him to make statements regarding the killing of an unidentified person.
Following the incident, Hussain approached the police, prompting Kahna police to register a case against five nominated and four unidentified suspects.
