Animal operation theatre inaugurated

Parliamentary Secretary for Livestock Punjab Sardar Asim Sher Maken on Saturday inaugurated an animal operation theatre at the Civil Veterinary Hospital Jauharabad to provide surgical facilities to livestock farmers.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Maken said veterinary hospitals and advanced surgical facilities were being established at divisional, district and tehsil levels across Punjab on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab.

He said the new operation theatre would facilitate timely diagnosis and surgical treatment and improve veterinary care for livestock farmers.

Maken also highlighted provincial initiatives for farmers, including the Chief Minister's Livestock Card and the Katta Pal Scheme. Director Livestock Sajid Iqbal and Deputy Director Livestock Tanveer Ashraf Kalyar briefed participants about departmental facilities and ongoing development projects.

Member National Assembly Malik Shakir Bashir Awan and Member Provincial Assembly Malik Asif Bha also addressed the gathering.
