Two arrested for sexual assault

Lahore. Shadbagh police arrested two suspects after registering a case on a woman's complaint of sexual assault. The police arrested two of the nominated suspects, Kazim and Hasnain.

They were handed over to the investigation wing, while raids were conducted to arrest the others. The woman was also being provided legal and medical assistance, a spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, a man who alleged a robbery to misappropriate Rs312,000 was arrested in Hayer.

Police received a call on the emergency helpline 15, reporting the robbery. He was arrested and a case was registered against him.

Meanwhile, an unidentified man was run over by a train at Kahna Kacha railway station. According to Rescue 1122, a team reached the place and found the man dead. Rescue officials said the body would be handed over to police for fulfilling legal requirements, including identification of the deceased.
