Malir to have 312-bed hospital by December
.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday visited the under-construction Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital in Malir and reviewed progress on the state-of-the-art healthcare facility being developed with the support of the Sindh government at an estimated cost of $23.5 million. He directed the authorities to ensure timely completion of the project.
During the visit, the chief minister inspected various sections of the hospital, including the under-construction wards and medical facilities.
He was given a detailed briefing on the project's scope, progress, planned facilities and operational arrangements.
Officials said the idea for the Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital was conceived by Pakistani physicians based in Pakistan and the United States.
Malir was selected as the location for the hospital due to the shortage of advanced healthcare facilities in the area.
