CAA, PAA HQs to be shifted to Islamabad

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed September 29, for hearing a petition seeking appointment of a permanent Indus Water Commissioner.
According to the cause list issued by the IHC Registrar's Office, the case has been scheduled after the judicial vacations. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir will hear the petition filed by the Judicial Activism Panel.
The petitioner contended that the post of Indus Water Commissioner had remained vacant since September 1, 2025.
The case has now been fixed for hearing on September 29.
