Alleged GTA 6 gameplay footage has leaked online ahead of the game’s expected Netflix unveiling, offering a look at protagonist Jason Duval, police mechanics, vehicle systems and a potential six-star Wanted Level, according to TweakTown.

The footage was reportedly released by a hacker or hacker group known as Cyberleek.

Two clips, each lasting about a minute, show Jason playing pickup basketball, driving on a highway, getting involved in a collision and engaging in melee combat.

The leaks appear to show several changes to familiar Grand Theft Auto mechanics.

The Wanted Level interface reportedly features six stars rather than the traditional five, while police searches may identify players through clothing, facial and vehicle icons.

A stealth system also appears to indicate how close police are to spotting a player.

Other footage reportedly shows vehicle health indicators covering the engine and fuel, suggesting players could potentially need to refuel vehicles.

Licensed music is also expected to return through in-game radio stations.

Combat appears to include a stamina meter, while basketball gameplay reportedly rewards Jason with “+2% Focus”, hinting at a more detailed trait or RPG-style progression system.

A leaked map of GTA 6’s fictional Leonida setting has also circulated, although its poor quality has led to claims that it could be fake or represent old placeholder artwork.

The map appears to feature five areas: Lummox, Leonard, Kelly, Vice-Dale and Mariana.

Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive reportedly issued DMCA notices against accounts sharing the footage.

TweakTown also reported that industry insider NateTheHate claimed the footage came from a GTA 6 build more than a year old, potentially dating to 2023.
