BLACKPINK member Jisoo has mourned Mathilde Favier, Dior’s public relations director, who died alongside her husband, French film producer Nicolas Altmayer, in a car crash in western France.
Jisoo, who has been a global ambassador for Dior since 2021, shared a tribute to Favier on Instagram on Tuesday, remembering their relationship and the support she received during her career with the luxury fashion house.
“Dear Mathilde, it’s hard to find the words to say goodbye,” Jisoo wrote. “From the very beginning of my journey with Dior, you welcomed me with such warmth and kindness. You made Paris feel like another home to me.”

She added, “Over the years, we shared so many special moments, and I will always be grateful for the care, love, and support you showed me along the way. I will always treasure the birthdays we celebrated, the time our families spent together, and all the precious memories we shared there.”
Jisoo concluded her message by writing, “Rest in peace, Mathilde. You will never be forgotten.”
According to the prosecutors’ office of Niort, Favier and Altmayer died on Monday near Niort after their car collided with an oncoming truck while they were overtaking another vehicle, Agence France-Presse reported.
Altmayer was known for producing films including The Conquest (2011), about former French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s rise to power.
France’s Culture Minister Catherine Pégard described him as a “producer with a keen eye” and praised Favier’s contribution to fashion and luxury.
