TickToker summoned for indictment

A sessions court in Lahore has summoned TikToker Rajab Butt and other accused for indictment on August 29 in a case involving allegations of rape.

The court heard proceedings on a private complaint filed against the accused. Rajab Butt and the other accused appeared before the court and marked their attendance.

Their counsel, Mian Ali Ashfaq, also appeared before the court.

After hearing the matter, the court adjourned the proceedings until August 29 and directed all the accused to appear on the next date for framing of charges.

Police had registered a case against the accused at Nawab Town police station in Lahore in connection with the allegations.

The case is currently at the pre-trial stage and the allegations against the accused have not been established in court.
