Sebastian Stan appears to have revealed that he is playing Harvey Dent in The Batman: Part II, despite previously saying he could not discuss his role in the film.

Stan made the apparent revelation during an interview with French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, alongside fellow Fjorde star Renate Reinsve.

The interview reportedly took place at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Stan reportedly said he was playing Harvey Dent shortly after claiming he “can’t say anything” about the highly anticipated sequel.

However, the report has not been officially confirmed, leaving some uncertainty around the actor’s comments.

Stan had previously been linked to the role of Victor Zsasz, a serial killer associated with Gotham.

That speculation gained attention after the actor was seen with a shaved head, resembling the character’s appearance.

Before the Zsasz theory emerged, Stan was widely rumoured to be playing Harvey Dent, Gotham’s district attorney who eventually becomes the villain Two-Face.

Aaron Eckhart previously portrayed Dent in The Dark Knight.

If Stan is confirmed as Dent, the apparent revelation would resolve one of the major casting questions surrounding Matt Reeves’ sequel.

The roles of other new cast members, including Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch, remain undisclosed.

Filming is reportedly underway in Glasgow, with a battle-damaged Batmobile recently spotted during production.

The Batman: Part II is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on February 18, 2028.
