Cynthia Erivo joined Ariana Grande on stage in London to perform 'For Good' during Grande's Eternal Sunshine Tour

Cynthia Erivo joined Ariana Grande on stage in London for a surprise performance of "For Good" during Grande's Eternal Sunshine Tour.

The Wicked co-stars performed the song at Grande's show at London's O2 Arena. "For Good" is the titular track from last year's sequel film Wicked: For Good, in which Grande and Erivo reprised their roles as Glinda and Elphaba.

The pair also performed a medley of "Get Happy" and "Happy Days Are Here Again" during the appearance.

Grande is currently completing her Eternal Sunshine Tour, which includes 10 dates at London's O2 Arena. The final show is scheduled for September 1.

The performance comes after Grande announced earlier this month that she would take a "step back" following the tour.

As part of the decision, she will no longer appear in a London West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park With George, which would have reunited her with Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.

Grande later clarified her decision while speaking to fans during a show in Chicago.

"It was something that I have decided," she said. "A plan that I had quietly made a long time ago. It was a decision that was made from a thoughtful and empowered place."
