Content creator Arij Fatyma shared a personal life update with her followers, revealing that she was a cancer survivor. She also opened up about her life after stepping away from acting.

Sharing a selfie alongside a heartfelt message on Instagram, Arij offered her followers insight into her life, inviting them to follow her journey online.

“So many new faces have joined me locally — Pakistanis and non-Pakistanis alike — and it’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself. So, hello! Here’s a little about me,” she wrote.

The content creator added that she was born in North Carolina and came from a Pakistani-Indian and Iranian background. She shared that she had spent over a decade living in Pakistan, where she worked as a television actor, before moving back to the United States to start a family.

Arij also opened up about her career after leaving the entertainment industry, revealing that she worked as a social media director and account executive at a Fortune 500 company. “Today, I live a pretty suburban life in Toledo, Ohio, balancing motherhood, work, content creation, and everything in between,” she noted.

She also revealed that she had battled a rare form of cancer and was now on a healing journey. “I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called choriocarcinoma, and that chapter changed my perspective on life in ways I never expected. I now live with one ovary, a lot more gratitude, and a much deeper appreciation for the time Allah has given me,” she said.

Now focusing on creating lifestyle content on social media, Arij had stepped away from acting after appearing in the 2019 drama Hasad, which starred Minal Khan and Noor Hassan. She is best known for her roles in Aap Ke Liye, Meri Beti, and Aik Pal.
