Afridi launches street movement
.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Khan Afridi on Sunday announced the launch of a historic street movement from Bannu, saying that a sea of people from the province would march towards Adiala Jail under his leadership on September 27. He said the sit-in would continue until the movement's demands were accepted and practical results achieved.
Addressing party workers at reception camps established in Bannu by MNA Maulana Syed Naseem Ali Shah, PTI district president Haji Malik Gulbaz Khan, MPA Malik Pakhtun Yar Khan, former chairman Junaid Rashid, Iqbal Jadoon, southern region general secretary Malik Adnan Khan and Sikandar Hayat Khan, Afridi said movements launched from Bannu had succeeded in the past, which was why the street movement was being initiated from the district.
The chief minister said the youth were going to change the course and destiny of Pakistan. He claimed that PTI founder Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had deeply resonated with the younger generation, adding that those attempting to push them into a corner were living under a misconception.
