Naqvi condemns attack on Langove's convoy

ISLAMABAD:

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi telephoned Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Langove and strongly condemned the attack on his convoy.

He inquired about Langove's well-being and thanked Almighty Allah for keeping him safe.

Commending the Balochistan police for successfully foiling the attack, the interior minister said the people and police of the province have rendered immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He said the federal government stood firmly by the Balochistan government and its people.

Langove survived an armed attack on his convoy on Friday while retu¬rning to Quetta after attending a nati¬onal flag-hoisting ceremony in Kalat.
