Punjab flood situation normal
The PDMA said on Saturday that water flows in most of the province's rivers remained normal, although low-level flooding was reported at Kalabagh and Chashma on the Indus River, as well as in several watercourses in Narowal and Wazirabad.
According to the PDMA, water flows in the Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi and Sutlej rivers were within normal levels, while the flow in the hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan was also recorded as normal.
The authority said the Indus was experiencing low-level flooding at Kalabagh and Chashma, where flows stood at 356,000 and 332,000 cusecs, respectively, while 289,000 cusecs were being recorded at Tarbela.
