“The fondest memory of this day remains the excitement and flex of putting small small flags and the biggest possible flag on rooftop,” she wrote.
Aymen Saleem
Actor and model Aymen Saleem opted for an elegant chikankari shalwar kameez, with lace embroidery detailing at the sleeves and a green dupatta.
She accessorised with green earrings embellished with pearls and posed with the national flag.

The singer took a more casual approach on the occasion, wearing a light green shirt with darker green trousers as he posed on his rooftop with a large Pakistan flag.
"I pray we all become better for a better Pakistan," he wrote.
Ayesha Omar
Opting for an all-white shalwar kameez, the actor added a green dupatta for a classic Independence Day combination.
In an ode to the national flag, Ayesha accessorised her outfit with an embroidered moon-and-star pin decorated with dangling beads.
Ayesha added, "I hope I can be a part of the solutions and not the problems. I hope I can be the voice and action of change whenever possible."
