ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declined to fix cases involving PTI founder Imran Khan for hearing before the end of the ongoing judicial recess, despite the PTI legal team's request for their early listing, sources said.

The PTI legal team met the secretary to the IHC chief justice and pressed for the cases to be fixed for hearing.

However, despite the team's insistence, the cases could not be scheduled, with the secretary informing the lawyers that they would be fixed after the court's judicial vacations.

Several cases involving the PTI founder are pending before the IHC, including the £190 million case.
