AC compressor blast death toll rises to three

DIJKOT:

The death toll from an air-conditioner com-pressor explosion in Samanabad has risen to three after another injured man succumbed to his burns at a hospital on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on August 5 in Street 7 of Masoodabad, within the jurisdiction of Samanabad po-lice station, where an AC compressor exploded inside a house, leaving eight members of a family, includ-ing a woman and children, severely burnt.

One of the injured, identified as Chand Qasai, died from his injuries at the Allied Hospital's burn unit on Tuesday morning despite receiving treatment.
