100k Pak students receive Cambridge results

Almost 368,000 students worldwide received their AS & A Level results

More than 100,000 students from over 850 schools across Pakistan received their Cambridge International results on Tuesday, with the June 2026 examination series results being released worldwide, according to a statement issued by Cambridge International Education.

Cambridge said almost 368,000 students worldwide received their International AS & A Level results, while more than 100,000 students in Pakistan had appeared for the June examination series for Cambridge International AS & A Level, O Level and IGCSE. Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry and Computer Science were among the most popular subjects in Pakistan, the statement said.

"Congratulations to all our students receiving results today and next week," Rod Smith, Group Managing Director for International Education at Cambridge, said in the press release.

Smith said more students were turning to AS & A Levels because they combined "deep subject knowledge" with skills valued by universities and employers.

"This year's continued growth shows just how clearly that combination resonates in a world being reshaped by AI," he said, adding that Cambridge International AS & A Levels would become "increasingly important" in the years ahead.

Cambridge's Country Director for Pakistan, Uzma Yousuf, said the results were particularly significant given the circumstances in which some students had prepared for their examinations. "Congratulations to all our learners receiving their results this week. This has not been an ordinary year," she said.

"Some students prepared for their examinations against a backdrop of regional tensions, uncertainty and disruption, which makes today's achievement even more meaningful," she added.

Cambridge said results for the June 2026 IGCSE and O Level examinations would be released to more than 315,000 students worldwide on August 18.
