Ms Rachel announces first-ever album 'I'm So Happy' with Mr Aron

The album is set to arrive on September 25 through Magic Star, the division of children's and family entertainment

Ms. Rachel is officially taking her music beyond the screen with her first-ever album, I'm So Happy, which she is releasing with her husband and musical collaborator, Aron Accurso.

The 23-track album is set to arrive on September 25 through Magic Star, the global division of children's and family entertainment at The Orchard. It will feature fan-favourite songs from the Ms. Rachel series alongside new arrangements and original tracks.

The collection includes songs such as "Icky Sticky Bubblegum," "Hop Little Bunnies," "The Wheels on the Bus," "Big Feelings" and "Together", as well as the original songs "I'm So Happy" and "I Love a Rainbow." The latter has been released as the album's lead single and puts a bossa nova spin on a celebration of colours.

Rachel and Aron said they hope the album becomes something families can enjoy together, whether they are having dance parties at home, singing along in the car or creating memories with their children.

The songs have been transformed into full studio recordings, with the album recorded and mixed in New York City and Nashville. Accurso served as the principal arranger, while Grammy Award winner Scott Riesett co-produced the project. The recordings feature 19 vocalists and 42 instrumentalists.

Ms. Rachel, whose real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, launched her YouTube channel with Aron in 2019. The children's educator has since built a global audience of more than 20 million YouTube subscribers and nearly 17 billion views, expanding the brand into books, toys and Netflix.

Now, I'm So Happy gives families a chance to experience the music from the series as a complete album, with Rachel and Aron hoping the collection becomes part of children's childhood memories in the same way beloved albums were for them.
