Josh Stewart joins 'Gersh' amid busy run with Gold Mountain and The Odyssey

Josh Stewart signs with 'Gersh' after starring in Ang Lee’s Gold Mountain and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey

Actor Josh Stewart has signed with Gersh for representation in all areas following his work on Ang Lee’s upcoming film Gold Mountain.

The signing comes after production recently wrapped on Gold Mountain, an adaptation of C Pam Zhang’s novel How Much of These Hills Is Gold. Pulitzer Prize finalist Chang-Rae Lee adapted the screenplay for the film, which features Stewart alongside Chedi Chang, Sophia Xu, Yao, Zine Tseng and Owen Teague.

Stewart is currently appearing in two high-profile projects. He plays Antiphates, king of the giant Laestrygonians, in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. He also stars as Sheriff Handy Wade in Paramount+’s Dutton Ranch, a Yellowstone spin-off sequel featuring Kelly Reilly and Annette Bening.

The actor has previously collaborated with Nolan on several films, including Tenet, Interstellar and The Dark Knight Rises. His other film credits include Insidious: The Last Key, Transcendence, The Finest Hours and The Mustang.

Stewart is also known for his role as the lead character in The Collector film series. His television credits include appearances in Criminal Minds, Manhunter, The Punisher and Shooter.

With the Gersh deal, Stewart will receive representation across all areas. He continues to be represented by Authentic Talent and Literary Management and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.

The new representation adds to a busy period for Stewart as he expands his film and television work. His involvement in Gold Mountain, alongside his current roles in The Odyssey and Dutton Ranch, gives the actor several prominent projects across major studios and streaming platforms.
