12 bakery workers hospitalised after food poisoning

FAISALABAD:

Twelve workers of a bakery in the Millat Chowk area were hospitalised after allegedly suffering food poisoning, police said.

According to police, the workers, aged between 12 and 27, prepared chicken curry for their meal at the bakery.

Shortly after eating it, they developed symptoms of food poisoning and were shifted to Allied Hospital for medical treatment.

Doctors reportedly attributed their condition to improperly prepared food. All 12 workers were provided medical treatment and discharged from the hospital after their condition improved.
