45 e-challans issued for traffic violations

HYDERABAD:

Hyderabad police have issued 45 e-challans for various traffic violations following the implementation of the e-challan system in the city.

According to a Hyderabad Police spokesperson, the action was taken on the directives of SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar to ensure effective enforcement of traffic laws through modern technology. The e-challans were issued through a mobile application for violations recorded at different locations.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of DSP Hussainabad Ghulam Akbar, DSP Traffic Latifabad Masood Arain and SO Auto Bhan Faisal Ali.

Under the e-challan system, particular attention is being given to traffic violations on Auto Bhan Road. The violations include parking in no-parking zones, driving against the designated direction, one-way violations, signal jumping and other breaches of traffic rules. SSP Shahzeb Chachar has directed the relevant officers to take indiscriminate action against traffic violators through the e-challan system and ensure compliance with traffic laws.

Hyderabad Police have urged citizens to park their vehicles only in designated areas, avoid driving against the designated direction and strictly follow traffic signals and other traffic regulations.
