The opening of Friends of the '70s at Alhamra Hall 1 has received an enthusiastic response, with a packed auditorium, sustained laughter and applause highlighting renewed public interest in quality family theatre.
Presented under the special attention of Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Azma Zahid Bokhari, the play is part of the Punjab government's efforts to promote theatre as a refined and family-friendly form of entertainment.
Written by playwright Saeed Anjum and directed by actor and director Waseem Abbas, the production features Honey Albela, Qaiser Piya, Ashraf Khan, Meher Chaudhry, Iman Noor, Usman Raj, Sheeza Butt and Ahmed Mughal.
