One killed, two injured in shootout

One person was killed and two others sustained serious injuries in an exchange of fire between two rival groups following a brawl in Basti Ghapli on Thatti Sameja Road on Sunday. Eyewitnesses said a quarrel between the two groups escalated into an armed clash, during which members of one group opened fire, injuring three people.
Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene and provided emergency medical assistance to the victims. Javed Shah, son of Abid Shah and a resident of Basti Ghapli, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The other two injured, identified as Faheem, son of Hajji Iqbal, and Mujhaid, son of Abid Shah, sustained bullet wounds.
