Man electrocuted during rain

LAHORE:

A 45-year-old man was electrocuted to death during rain in Samanabad.

The incident occurred near Hassan Market, where the victim suffered an electric shock during the rain and died on the spot. The deceased was identified as Khateeb, son of Khalid.

Police shifted the body to a morgue and launched an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, an unidentified 75-year-old man was found dead on a footpath in the Race Course area. The police shifted the body to a morgue and launched efforts to trace the deceased man's family.

Preliminary information suggested that he was a drug addict and might have died from overdose, officials said.
