Amna Ilyas denies being officially part of Yasir Hussain's upcoming film

Actor says she has received script but hasn't signed on yet, urges media to refrain from speculative reports

Model and actor Amna Ilyas, in an Instagram post, addressed rumours surrounding her involvement in Yasir Hussain’s upcoming film, urging platforms to verify information with the concerned individual or their team before reporting speculation as fact.

Addressing the claims circulating across social media regarding her starring in Hussain’s upcoming social comedy Paanch Hazaar Main Shaadi, Amna explained that while she held preliminary discussions and had received the script, it did not mean she had officially signed on to the project.

“As of now, I am not officially part of the film,” the actor said.

She further emphasised that there was no confirmed casting announcement as of yet, and added that she would share the news of her involvement directly.

If Amna joins the project, it wouldn't be her first time working alongside Hussain. The two have previously co-starred on the web series Kala Bichoo, which was written and directed by Bilal Abbasi.

The pair also worked together on the crime thriller pilot BeyKhauf, with Hussain playing a police officer and Amna playing a journalist determined to expose the truth.
