Bullet casing found 9 days after death

A major development has emerged in the case of Wafflix's owner Mir Raza as police have recovered a 30-bore pistol cartridge casing from the crime scene nine days after the incident.

The investigation and crime scene teams recovered the shell during a fresh search of the area and are sending it to a forensic laboratory for examination. Police officials said the recovery could prove significant in determining the circumstances surrounding Mir Raza's death.

Investigators said the cartridge casing was found at a location some distance away from where Mir Raza's body was recovered. They added that the crime scene unit and investigation teams had visited the site several times earlier but had failed to locate the casing.

Earlier, investigators had recovered a pistol holster (cover) from the crime scene. Police had claimed that the holster belonged to a security guard's weapon and that Mir Raza was seen carrying it from his office drawer in CCTV footage.
