The first trailer for April X has arrived, offering a glimpse at Connor Storrie's first major film since his breakout success in Heated Rivalry. The sci-fi thriller sees the rising star take on his darkest role yet opposite Lilly Krug.
Directed by Michel K. Parandi, April X follows twins Bax and April, played by Storrie and Krug, living in a futuristic post-Soviet city. When April mysteriously disappears, Bax embarks on a desperate search through the dystopian landscape, slowly descending into madness as he uncovers disturbing secrets. The film blends psychological suspense with cyberpunk-inspired world-building and action.
The 92-minute thriller was co-written by Parandi and Jack Coulton and will be released in more than 500 cinemas across the US and Canada on September 18, with international releases also planned in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, India and several other territories.
The film was completed before Storrie's meteoric rise to fame through Heated Rivalry, making it one of the actor's earliest leading roles to receive a wide theatrical release. With anticipation surrounding his expanding slate of projects, April X marks another major step in his transition from television breakout to big-screen leading man.
