Joe Jonas lands major coaching role on 'The Voice' celebrity edition

NBC competition will feature famous contestants from entertainment, sport and reality television instead of newcomers

NBC is expanding The Voice franchise with a celebrity focused edition, bringing Joe Jonas back to the familiar red chair while introducing an entirely new format for the long running singing competition.

The network has announced that The Voice: Celebrity will premiere in spring 2027, replacing aspiring unknown singers with contestants who are already recognised in entertainment and sport. Joe Jonas will serve as one of the celebrity coaches alongside Queen Latifah and country music star Riley Green.
