Imran sisters stage sit-in over meeting denial
No PTI leader or family member was allowed to meet former prime minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail despite the scheduled meeting on Tuesday, prompting his sisters to stage a sit-in.
Aleema Khan, Dr Uzma Khanum and Noreen Niazi began the protest at the Medicine Factory checkpoint after prison authorities denied the meeting. A limited number of PTI workers also joined the sit-in, while police kept traffic flowing on Adiala Road.
Imran and Bushra were also allowed to meet in the jail conference room for about 45 minutes.
