Marvel fans discover Web Kid from Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s ending scene is young actor Elvis Carlos

Marvel fans have discovered the identity of the young actor behind Web Kid in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, following the character’s memorable appearance in the film’s ending scene.

Seven-year-old Elvis Carlos portrays the child wearing a Spider-Man costume who appears outside a New York City hospital during the movie’s final moments. The scene shows Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, escaping through a crowd after suffering a serious injury, with Web Kid briefly catching the superhero’s attention by making Spider-Man’s iconic hand gesture and sound effects.

Carlos’ parents shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the Marvel production on social media, celebrating his first major film role. The child actor’s talent agency also shared footage from his audition process, describing his journey from a self-tape to appearing on the big screen. The role marked Carlos’ first movie appearance.

The inclusion of Web Kid has sparked speculation among Marvel fans about whether the character could be connected to Miles Morales, the popular Spider-Man successor from the comics. Fans pointed to possible references in the film, including a newspaper clipping linked to a Brooklyn parkour prodigy.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously acknowledged the importance of Miles Morales’ future within the Spider-Man franchise but did not confirm any connection to the new film.
